Tour Itinerary

Day 1

Kathmandu(1,310 M) to Lhasa (3,600M)By Flight.

Morning you will fly for about over the panoramic Himalayan ranges to the capital of Tibet “Lhasa”. Lhasa at an altitude of 3,650 Mt..Lhasa in Tibetan means “Place of the Gods” , on arrival you will be met by the local representative and transferred to your respective Hotel. (60km/hrs).Full rest in the afternoon to acclimatize. Overnight at the Hotel THANGKA

Day 2

Lhasa Sightseeing

After Breakfast Lhasa Sightseeing am Potala Palace, Jokhang Temple Barkhor Bazaar Overnight at Hotel THANGKA

Day 3

Lhasa Sightseeing

After breakfast visit Sera and Drupung Monastery . Overnight at Hotel.THANGKA

Day 4

Lhasa via Gyantse (3,950M) to Shigatse350 Km 05 – 06 Hrs Drive,

Drive to Gyantse Sightseeing Kumbung ,Plalkhor Monastery, walk through the old Town drive  Shigatse . Overnight at Hotel GESAR

Day 5

Shigatse (3,950 Km) to Saga 495 Km 06 – 07 Hrs Drive.

After Breakfast drive to Shigatseenroute visit Shalu Monastery and Tashilhumpu Monastery and Tibetan Market Drive to Saga Overnight at Hotel WESTEN POST

Day 6

Saga to Manasoravar (4,510m) 4 20 Km

After breakfast, drive to Paryang, the stunning view of the saga valley between Gangdise Range and Himalayan range, cross the MayomlaPass(5112M), Far View of Mt. Naimonanyi(7,694m).

Day 7

Manasoravar to Darchen 53 Km

Morning worship on the bank of Manasarover  afternoon drive to Darchen. Overnight at HIMALYAN HOTEL

Day 8

Darchen (4,660 Km) –Dhirapuk (4,900M)(driving 7 Km, Trek 13 Km)

Take environment friendly bus from Darchen to SarshungValley,Meetyak and Porter at Sarang Village, Around 13 Km treks from sarshungto Dhirapuk Monastery along the Lachu Valley and rivers see both west and north face of mountain kailsh today.Visit DhirapukMonastery Overnight at GAMGDISI Guest House

Day 9

Dhirapuk to Dzulpuk(4,750M) Treks 18 Km

Trek to Dolmala pass, the heighest pass of the Kora, Break in a teahouse on the way,meet the locals prostrating in the Kora Path, you can see the beautiful Kadoe Lake when walk Down Overnight at GAMGDISI Guest House

Day 10

Dzultripuk – Darchen Trek 7 Km,driving 5 Km

Trek 7 Km to Zhong to where you can take bus to Darchen, along the Kora You can see piles of Mani Stones. Overnight at HIMALAYNHOTEL

Day 11

Darchen to Saga 420 Km 05 – 06 Hrs

After breakfast drive to SagaToday you will leave Holy Place Overnight at  WESTEN POST HOTEL

Day 12

Saga to Kerung (2,800M)350 Km

After Breakfast drive uphill to the height plateau of the world with the typical view of Tibetan landscape offering of standing of the roof of the world , brethaking panorama of beautiful Himalayan ranges including Mt choyu (8,201m) and Mt Xishapangma (8,012m)and Mt. Everest(8,848:86 m) you can see. Overnight at the Hotel KYIRNGGRAND HOTEL

Day 13

Kerung to Kathmandu. 165 Km 06 – 07 Hrs

After Breakfast drive to Kathmandu, cross the all necessary formalities Nepali and Chinese immigration drive to see a panoramic view

  • Hotel & Guest house in Tibet on bed & breakfast,Sightseeing as per program including entrance fees with Good English speaking guide, permit & road permit, Transportation by reserve bus, During Koraman / animal as a porter, 15 kg personal bag, During Kora Mansarovar room will be dormitory with common toiletsOxygen providing in the hotel / guest house, Bus & during the Kora, Lhasa airport transfer.
  • Lunch / diner in whole Tibet program, alcohol, beverage, Insurance, personal clothing (down jacket, rainy jacket, warm trouser, Trekking shoes, etc) Tips to Guide / Driver, porters

Upon joining, each participant will be sent a list of required and recommendedgear for this journey that they will be responsible for.

In Lhasa, Gyantse, Shigatse and Saga, you will be staying in comfortableandpleasant locally-rated 3 or 4 Star Tibetan-owned hotels. At Lake Manasarovar and alongthetrekaround Mt. Kailash, accommodations will be very simple guesthouses as these areas areveryremote and poor. Guesthouses have no heat, but plenty of blankets. Toilets are usuallyoutsideand are not always clean. Showers are often unavailable at guesthouses or are available at alocal
shower house that is not attached to the hotel. Hotel upgrades available in Lhasa upon request.

Breakfast is included in the price for each morning you are in lhasa and shigatse. Lunchand dinner are not included in the price.

Participants must be in good health and be able to spend each day walkingaroundtowns, villages and monasteries. Most of this tour will take place in mountainous terrain between3600 meters and 5200 meters (11,800 feet to 17,000 feet) above sea level. The 3 day trekaroundMt. Kailash is 52 kilometers long and will take 3 days to complete. This trek is beautiful, but isquite demanding as the high pass rises to 5630 meters (18,465 feet). You will spend 3 nightsinLhasa for altitude acclimatization before going above 3600 meters. Ascent will be slowandgradual along the way from Lhasa to Mt. Kailash.
